I love this 🖤 after my dad died I kept some of his old notebooks and love reading through the list of people he was planning to call or personal tasks he wrote down for himself. It’s nice to have a tangible piece of them to return to.

My mother also had beautiful handwriting, but was a terrible speller. It has made me more than a little protective, and also defiant about those who point out other’s spelling mistakes, because my mother was so incredibly smart and loving. She died 30 years ago and our family reunion T-shirts still memorialize our favorite of her altogether wonderful misspellings...

That's so endearing. Your comment made me laugh because my mom was a stickler for spelling. She was the first one to point out a typo! My grandma, on the other hand, always spelled my name wrong! Ooof. Thanks for sharing :)
